The PGA Golf in Caldes de Malavella will invest 20 million € in the expansion of the complex.

They will plant vineyards and build a winery, a lake with an artificial beach and a horse riding centree in adjacent areas.

The PGA Catalunya Resort group plans to invest 20 million in the expansion of its complex, where they want to plant vineyards, build a winery, a pond with a ‘yacht club ‘, an artificial beach, a horse riding centre and new luxury homes. With the new project, the owner of PGA Catalunya Resort, Denis O’Brien, wants to confirm that the complex in Caldes de Malavella is the best course in Europe, keeping an eye on the possible designation of Caldes to host the Ryder Cup 2022, the flagship competition of international golfing circuit.

The investment at the PGA Catalonia Resort can be a great incentive for the zone, since it may open new doors for the tourist sector, which foresees a strong growth of the tourist demand if the project goes out forward.
