The continuity of the Catalan Water Partnership in Girona consolidates the bet of the University for the Campus of the Water


The Cluster has consolidated his presence in the Scientific Park of the UdG and places Girona as an attraction pole for the sector innovation

The Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) has recently renewed the agreement for his continuity in the Scientific Park of the UdG appealing to the bet of Girona for the companies of the water sector.

Jaume Carol, the CWP president, said that the knowledge and the investigation that is carried out by the Water Campus have been the main point to take the decision. The possibility of being close to R+D and all the knowledge available in the University fosters the companies’ competitiveness.

Moreover, Ramon Moreno, Vice rector of UdG and Director of Water Campus, emphasises the need of facilitating this relationship and adapt the research and training programs to the real needs of water sector agents. The Water Campus aim is become the relational instrument capable to detect the market/companies needs in order to facilitate technological solutions.
