iii. Actions

The relevant actions can be classified in the same fields as stated in the current situation:

  1. The e-MTA Campus’ contributing to generating, transferring and disseminating knowledge about sustainable economy, water and tourism sustainability and about the advanced research fields proposed. This line includes cooperation actions.
  2. Applying the objectives and responsibilities of a sustainable economy to the construction and management of each university Campus and the e-MTA Campus.

The actions proposed by the e-MTA Campus that specifically contributes to sustainable economy are as follows:

  • The  actions  set  out  in the  teaching  and employability sections:  International PhD School (A.C.3), international recruitment (B.C.1, Satellite Project), differentiated vertical curricula based on the multidisciplinary subjects  in  the  campus   fields  (A.C.7) with full adaptation to the EHEA (A.C.4), cooperation with Vocational Training centres and companies (A.C.5), student internships in PRES-PM companies (A.B.9) and virtual environment for employability (C.C.2)  (article 62 of the  LES).
  • The actions set out in the talent research, recruitment and retention (B.C.1), programme APOYO (B.C.5) (article 53 to 56, 83 and 64 of the LES).
  • Improving campus infrastructures based on sustainability criteria (article 78 and 107 of the  LES): C.B.1, C.G.1, B.C.3 (Laboratory sustainability audit, financed by the Reinforcement 2011), C.C.3, which includes recycling swimming pool water for us in sprinkling systems and has been financed by the Reinforcement 2011) and C.C.5 (removing architectural barriers, financed by the Reinforcement 2011).
  • Making the campus environmentally-friendly (article 85, 100, 101 of the  LES): C.C.11
  • Association agreements and future members (article 63 of the LES).
  • Cooperation in development and solidarity: C.C.11, Cultural change towards sustainability, which includes scholarships for master’s in developing countries, among other sub-actions.
