Tourism sustainability

Tourism sustainability is one of the four specialization areas of the Campus e-MTA. This area focuses on training, research, and innovation in tourism sustainability from all perspectives, including not only economic, management, and strategic aspects, but also tourism technologies and environmental aspects. Specific studies and research lines are devoted to heritage; hotel management; management of tourist companies; tourism ICT; tourism analysis, management, and strategy; tourism economics; environmental economics; ecology in tourist areas and ecology of coastal systems; environmental chemistry and microbiology; efficient watering and energy consumption; waste management; regeneration of tourist areas; and tourism and global change.
