IMEDEA (CSIC-UIB) researcher Gabriel Jordà awarded the Young Scientists MedCLIVAR prize

The award recognizes the contribution of Gabriel Jordà to research in fundamental aspects of sea level in the Mediterranean

Dr. Gabriel Jordà, a researcher at the Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies (IMEDEA, CSIC-UIB), won the Award for Young Scientists prize awarded by the MedCLIVAR research program. The award has been granted as part of the annual conference of the scientific initiative, which took place in Madrid on the 28th and 29th of September under the title <<The climate of the Mediterranean region: understanding its evolution and effects on environment and societies>>. Dr John Tribe, professor at the University of Surrey and editor of the Annals of Tourism Research, speaks at the EMTM graduation ceremony

On Saturday 15 September the gradation ceremony of the EMTM international master’s programme (Erasmus Mundus European Master in Tourism Management) was held in the La Mercè Auditorium.

Dr John Tribe, professor at the University of Surrey and editor of the Annals of Tourism Research, spoke at the ceremony. After the ceremony, the students, representing more than 25 different nationalities, offered samples of typical dishes from their countries to family members, friends and authorities in attendance.
