One of the four specialization areas of the Campus e-MTA, Water, focuses on the different perspectives of the water management cycle, including freshwater, surface water, underground water, grey water, ocean waters, coastal waters, and the interplay between water and environment. Studies and research lines in this area cover aspects such as hydrologic processes, lakes, dams, rivers, aquatic ecology, contamination and purification, efficient use of water, environmental impact, science and management of coastal areas, and water technologies.
