Physics, Computing, and Applications

The Physics, Computing, and Applications specialization area of the Campus e-MTA focuses on training, research and transfer in physics and computer science, both from a theoretical and an applied perspective. The theoretical aspects cover subjects such as theoretical physics (quantum and nuclear physics, relativity, astrophysics and cosmology) and complex systems, while applied aspects range from applied math; computational physics and chemistry; bio-physics and medical physics; modeling of ecologic and social systems; quantum engineering and molecular modelling; structural mechanics; computer graphics, visualization, and image processing; computer networks; software agents; and robotics.
